Global shipments of LCD TV panels reached an estimated 22.09 million units in November, hitting an all-time record. Market research firm WitsView found that television panel shipments grew 2.6% sequentially last month and surpassed 22 million units for the first time. The firm s report was first picked up by Digitimes . Total panel shipments are estimated to reach 230 million units in 2012, up approximately 10% over last year. WitsView also estimated that shipments of tablet display panels fell 13% between October and November, totaling 15.39 million units last month.
